Last Day at La Quinta

The tropical rain forest lived up to its name yesterday as we hiked through a primary forest to the "ranchero" of the Tirimbini Cacao plantation and learned about the chocolate making process from beginning to end AND assisted with making some chocolate and cocoa and sampling it. YUMMY.

Now I'm going to try one LAST time to post a very few photos (as teasers) and see if I succeed. No internet available at our next stop... Savegre... at 7200 ft elevation where we may see red macaws and the resplendent quetzal (sp).

I am anxious to hear how you fared during the earthquake on 01/08/2009. Hope all is well and we are thinking of you.
